Mr. Britton is a municipal, civil litigation and trial attorney with successful civil and criminal trial experience. His practice areas include municipal law and municipal defense, contract and other business disputes, real property litigation, personal injury, employment, evictions, and creditor rights, as well as business formations and transactions, wills and probate.

Mr. Britton brings a unique perspective to the practice of law. Prior to law school Mr. Britton served for six years as a counterintelligence agent in the US Army and the Washington Army National Guard. He has also served as a Russian translator for Arctic Alaska Fisheries and Alaska Airlines, as a marine vessel operations manager for the Russian Far East Shipping Company (FESCO) and Seattle's Marine Business International, and as a project manager for a Seattle-based import-export company.

Mr. Britton has extensive experience in personal injury, business and real property litigation, and municipal liability, as well as criminal prosecutions and defense. Mr. Britton started out in private practice after a one-year internship in municipal law and governmental liability with the Tacoma City Attorney's office, one year as an associate in municipal law with Dionne & Rorick (Seattle, WA), and three years as an insurance defense litigator with Burgess Fitzer (Tacoma, WA). Mr. Britton opened the Law Office of David J. Britton in 2004.
